What to expect

My approach

I use an integrative framework – a combination of relational, psychodynamic and existential perspectives which can illuminate our understanding of what it is to be human. This often means that we explore your life together to remove the impact of previously held assumptions. In turn, how you live day-to-day, how you are in the world, can begin to feel different.

As we work together, the focus will be upon what you find most helpful and our efforts will be directed there, seeking the most constructive outcome.

What can I expect from psychotherapy sessions?

The therapeutic process aims to help you choose how to manage your life, making choices that can lead to a sense of being easier with yourself and the world. Our relationship would be an alliance. We work together, often struggle together for understanding, to reach the answers that suit your individual needs. New perspectives can be opened and ways of managing and coping with life’s problems.
